We are looking for a captain of our 871 DWT diesel electric pilot vessels operating as transfer vessels for our maritime security business. Rotation are 4 months on, 2 months off, managing a vessel crewed with up to 20 people and up to 110 security guards. These vessels conduct transfers of security teams and equipment to client vessels up to 10 times per day.
Our Captains need to have a great eye for detail, maritime systems management and time-planning skills. Due to the large number of transfers conducted, our Captains need to have excellent communication skills as well as risk assessment and problem-solving capabilities as the vessels rarely call into port.
1yr + on a similar sized vessel
Our vessels are Djibouti flagged and endorsements will be applied for on successful application.
