Each of our teams is headed by a Team Leader. Our Team Leaders are recommended by their peers for the position and take on additional training in the form of skill assessments to prepare them for their role.
An MSO needs three recommendations from a Team Leader to be put forward for promotion. Past experience from working as Team Leaders at other security companies is taken into account. A Team Leader has to conduct additional training and an assessment to confirm their suitability. Responsibilities include monitoring the performance of the MSOs in the team, liaising with agents and vessel managers at the floating armouries, as well as reporting and briefing Masters and crew.
