When established in 2010, our vision was to provide marine security services that were more dynamic and creative than traditional security firms, with a fresh approach that put the client’s needs first. Initially the company’s focus was on supporting the shipping sector in the high-risk environments across the Middle East, North and West Africa by providing compliant, well-trained and reliable armed security guards on merchant vessels.

We steadily increased our footprint throughout the Gulf of Guinea, setting up operations in Nigeria, Lagos and Port Harcourt, and provide our own fleet and 3rd party vessels for offshore operations in West, Central and East Africa.

With a wealth of marine experience gained over the last decade and as an owner and manager of a fleet of 9 vessels, including crewing and technical marine capabilities, Ambrey has expanded its focus into developing its Offshore & Safety vessel support services.

Despite our phenomenal growth, the values that underpinned Ambrey in its earliest days are still at the heart of our company.
